Anniversary of employees
Air Zermatt is celebrating another anniversary. On 1 August 2024, Dario Gobba celebrated his 15th anniversary as a paramedic at Air Zermatt.
Dario was born with the Air Zermatt spirit of helping people in need. His father worked for many years as an Air Zermatt operations manager. Dario therefore came into close contact with the work and values of Air Zermatt as a child. The exciting and often life-saving missions involving his father fascinated Dario from an early age and awakened in him the desire to work in the rescue service as well. This enthusiasm eventually led him to train as a paramedic.
Gobba has been a permanent member of the Air Zermatt family since 2009. In his first year at Air Zermatt, he still had the privilege of working side by side with his father before he went into well-deserved retirement. Working closely with his father in those early days was a formative experience for Dario and cemented his motivation to dedicate himself fully to saving lives.
Dario Gobba is particularly enthusiastic about the combination of flying and medicine. The opportunity to use state-of-the-art technology and medical knowledge in often difficult situations still fascinates him today.
