Additional Certified Flight Paramedics with Air Zermatt
Our paramedics Sandra Wenger, Cyrill Jost, Benjamin Hischier and Marco Gianiel recently successfully achieved the internationally recognized Certified Flight Paramedic FP-C & Certified Critical Care Paramedic certification.
This certification focuses on the knowledge level of experienced paramedics in the field of critical care medicine, e.g. for intensive care transfers from hospital to hospital, as well as flight physiology and further emergency medical knowledge and measures in the field of traumatology, pediatrics, internal medicine and obstetrics.
As a result, 12 of Air Zermatt's 13 paramedics are Flight Paramedic certified. One more paramedic is scheduled for certification this year. Europe-wide, Air Zermatt is the first air rescue company that can count on a complete pool of Certified Flight Paramedic FP-C.
