Air Zermatt is at the center of the action in the latest documentary series by SRF editorial staff DOK. Air Zermatt has in 2011 around 50 employees. In summer, the pilots and their helicopters are often on duty around the clock to rescue people in distress in the mountains. But they also transport food and building materials to remote huts in the Alps. They offer sightseeing tours around the impressive 4000m peaks and transport exclusive guests to the village at the foot of the Matterhorn with their helicopters, which have been turned into flying palanquins.
