Where better to exchange ideas than at one of the leading trade fairs in the helicopter industry - European Rotors?

Once again, Air Zermatt employees travelled abroad. This time we were able to visit the beautiful city of Madrid, where the European Rotors took place from November 27-30. On the impressive grounds of IFEMA Madrid, we found impressive activities in Hall 9.

The newest aircraft in the Air Zermatt fleet

This year's highlight for Air Zermatt was the presentation of its latest acquisition: our Bell 429 HB-XDA. It was a great pleasure to be able to present our latest helicopter with its unmistakable stars to the European aviation world. Many enthusiastic and curious visitors explored the magnificent aircraft up close.

The three-day industry event also gave our current CEO, Gerold Biner, and the designated CEO, Daniel Aufdenblatten, the opportunity to initiate the upcoming change in management on January 1, 2024. Networking in an international setting took centre stage and provided the perfect opportunity to cultivate numerous contacts with industry experts as well as suppliers and customers.

Partner events and culinary highlights in the vibrant metropolis

The different professional groups pursued different goals when participating in this event. The technical team discusses important topics with the manufacturers, meets important suppliers, finds out about innovations and exchanges ideas within their professional community. For the Air Zermatt Training Centre, this unique platform in the helicopter industry offers the opportunity to acquire new customers, but also to consolidate cooperation with other training institutions.

Various partner events took place outside the opening hours of the exhibition, giving our team the opportunity to visit the magnificent city of Madrid. These networking events took place amidst the Christmas markets and twinkling lights with incredible views and of course offered culinary experiences in the vibrant Spanish metropolis in addition to new acquaintances.

Overall, the European Rotors 2023 was a successful event for Air Zermatt and we are already looking forward to the next edition, which will take place from November 4-7, 2024 in Amsterdam, Holland.
