Care Paramedic

This course offers a comprehensive overview of the relevant topics of the demanding FP-C and CCP-C examinations. It serves as an aid to preparation and is led by experienced emergency physicians and flight paramedics from Air Zermatt. Please note that the course is not sufficient on its own to pass the exams successfully, but is rather a valuable addition to your individual preparation.

What is the FP-C and CCP-C exam?

The FP-C (Certified Flight Paramedic) and CCP-C (Certified Critical Care Paramedic) certifications are among the most prestigious qualifications in the field of preclinical emergency and intensive care medicine. Both examinations are specially designed for professionals who work in critical and often challenging situations, such as in air rescue or intensive care transport.

Demand

• FP-C: additional focus on aeromedical missions, physiology at altitude, air rescue standards and transport medicine.
• CCP-C: specialisation in intensive care medicine topics such as invasive monitoring techniques, pharmacology and management of critically ill patients.
• Both examinations require sound medical knowledge, practical experience and specific preparation.

Level:

• The examinations are considered highly demanding and are aimed at professionals with extensive experience in pre-hospital emergency care or intensive care.
• Successful completion underlines your expertise at an international level and significantly strengthens your professional qualification.

This course does not guarantee that you will pass the exams. Rather, it serves to highlight the most important subject areas, identify weak points and effectively support your preparation. Independent, intensive revision and consolidation of the content is essential in order to pass the exams successfully
