Rescue Card
How long is the rescue card valid?
The rescue card, i.e. the membership, comes into effect on the day after the payment is made and ends after one year if it is not renewed.

Why can't I find an expiry date anywhere on the rescue card?
The invoice sent is a reminder to renew your existing membership for the coming calendar year. This reminder letter is sent automatically 2 months before the respective membership expiry date. The expiration date of the still valid rescue card is noted on the reminder letter and after your payment the membership is renewed for another year (365 days).

Do I need to have the rescue card with me in order to be able to identify myself as a member of Air Zermatt AG in an emergency?
No. Membership is stored in our system and the question of existing membership only arises afterwards when costs are settled or claims are settled. For this reason, all family members do not necessarily need their own card if they are patrons as a family.

We no longer have any children under the age of 25. What is the best solution for us?
We ask you to inform us of this, as we do not know whether there are any children under the age of 25 in the family. For married couples without children under the age of 25, the membership fee is CHF 70 (2x single person). Please be sure to state your partner's first name, surname and year of birth. If you own farm animals, you will still need the family card at CHF 80.- incl. farm animals.

We have a family card and now my wife and I are separated and the children live with my wife. What do we have to do to ensure that the membership remains valid for all family members?
With the payment of the family membership fee of CHF 80, membership is still valid for both parents with children up to the age of 25. If you live separately, we will be happy to change your address and split your membership into 1x single person and 1x small family if you wish.
