Hamilton x Air Zermatt Store in the village of Zermatt

The two partners Hamilton and Air Zermatt have already joined forces once before in a pop-up store at the Bahnhofstrasse. Now this excellent collaboration is entering its second round. Hamilton and Air Zermatt AG have enjoyed a partnership of equals for over 10 years. "Mission precision" is the motto on both sides. Because even the smallest mistake could be fatal. To underline this close partnership and at the same time take it to a new level, both companies will be represented in a new store in the centre of the village of Zermatt starting in December. This time, however, not as a pop-up store but with a long-term joint project.

But let's start from the beginning

Once a suitable sales location was available, it quickly became clear to both parties that they did not want to miss out on the opportunity to continue operating a store together in the village of Zermatt. Although both Air Zermatt AG and Hamilton already have retail space, a store in the centre of Zermatt opens up completely new opportunities. Bringing the existing products, whether watches, tourist sightseeing flights or fan merchandise, to guests in person and advising them competently and individually at the same time is an important part of establishing and building customer relationships for both companies.

But as is usually the case with plans, things don't always go according to plan straight away. The more people involved, the more communication is required. It quickly became clear that it takes time to plan a new store before it can be opened. Nevertheless, time is of course one of the most important factors in the implementation of such a project. So ideas were put together as quickly as possible, plans were drawn up and partners were sought for the realisation. One thing led to another, it was a lot of sweating and certainly a challenge at times. But little by little everything got rolling.

A special thanks are due at this point to our employee, Stefan Imboden, for his tireless efforts as project manager on site. Not an everyday job for him alongside his role as Chief Task Specialist at the heliport in Zermatt.
