The training programs offered by the Air Zermatt Training Center not only cover a broad spectrum, but also offer numerous opportunities for further training in Air Zermatt's core competencies. In addition to the standardized and certified training programs, customer-oriented and tailor-made courses are a specialty. Whether you are a layperson or an experienced rescuer, there are training and further education opportunities for everyone.

The teaching methods include practical training units in which the unique procedures and techniques of Air Zermatt can be learned and improved in detail. From first aid measures and challenging mountain rescues to Air Zermatt's speciality, "dynamic hoisting" - the courses at the Air Zermatt Training Center expand knowledge and skills.

Specially certified courses are available for members of Swiss fire brigades, which are customised to the requirements of this important professional group. Due to high demand, however, only a few places remain available. Helicopters are an efficient means of fighting fires in rough terrain. Air Zermatt has been training fire brigades from all over Switzerland and abroad for over 10 years. It is the first helicopter company in Switzerland to have its helicopter courses for fire brigades certified by the Swiss Fire Service Coordination (FKS).

Practicing Emergency Medical Service in the mountains can be extremely challenging. High altitude, extreme temperatures, strong winds, unpredictable weather and no place for mistakes.

With more than 55 years of experience in this domain, Air Zermatt is offering to transfer its knowledge and experience with courses that prepares participants for demanding rescues under extreme conditions.
