WE WILL BE THERE: A CAMPAIGN WITH A 55-YEAR-OLD BACKSTORY
In 1971, two climbers were rescued from the north face of the Eiger. We were there. And we were the world’s first helicopter company to complete an air rescue with a winch. Forty years later, a mountaineering accident at 7000 meters in the Himalayas. A helicopter rescue had never been attempted at such an extreme altitude. But we were there.
As resourceful engineers pushed the boundaries of mountain architecture ever higher and allowed for increasingly remote areas to be accessed, we made it possible for thousands of tons of material to be transported up to where it was needed. And as more and more enthusiasts were inspired to explore the Alps from above, we made this possible as well.
Throughout our 55-year-old backstory, one clear promise has underpinned all the work, flying, training and innovation: We’ll be there.
Today, this promise forms the heart of our new campaign – a promise we continue to fulfill with courage, expertise, inspiration and experience. And an invitation to all those who feel drawn to the mountains to join us in exploring the limits of what is possible. Whenever you need us:
