Air Zermatt AG’s flights are operating without any restrictions. To ensure this can continue throughout the winter, a safety plan has been developed that complies with all Swiss federal government guidelines. Air Zermatt AG is constantly adapting its operations to meet current regulations and appeals to guests’ sense of responsibility and solidarity, asking them to observe the safety measures laid out by the Canton of Valais and the hygiene rules set out by the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health. The safety measures listed here are intended to protect employees, guests and all others from becoming infected with the coronavirus. The measures are based on the Swiss federal government’s COVID-19 Act and the recommendations of the Swiss Federal Office of
Public Health. The measures apply until further notice.
Due to COVID-19, special conditions apply for bookings in the 2021/21 winter season. Flights booked in the online shop (direct bookings) that cannot be redeemed due to COVID-19 and official restrictions will remain valid for 2 years with no loss in value. Vouchers are valid for two years and can be extended on request.
This applies in the following cases:
- if you or a close contact has an official positive test for COVID-19 and consequently has to self-isolate
- there is a travel ban / travel warning for Switzerland
- facilities are suspended by the government / canton due to COVID-19
