Model Helicopter - Lama SA315b

Air Zermatt AG was founded in 1968 with one helicopter, one pilot, and one mechanic. In 1971, the first Lama, the HB-XDI, equipped with a rescue winch, arrived in Zermatt directly from the manufacturer's factory. It was one of the first machines of this type and the first to be used outside France. The second Lama, registered as HB-XII, arrived a few years later and made history at Air Zermatt until 2021. The helicopter was perfectly suited for high-altitude mountain operations. The model helicopter is a tribute to a long-standing companion of our pilots.

• Made of plastic parts. 
• The design of the model is very close to the original paintwork with folding rotor blades, on a scale of 1:40. 
• The model has a length of approx. 25 cm.
