Experience the Swiss Alps from above: Air Zermatt takes you on a helicopter sightseeing flight around the Matterhorn, along the UNESCO-listed Aletsch Glacier or up to the Jungfraujoch. Flights depart from Zermatt and Raron, take 20 to 60 minutes and start at CHF 230 per person (groups of 4 or more – private charters available).
Sightseeing Flights from Zermatt
Zermatt is car-free. So it makes sense to travel by train; the final stop is Bahnhofplatz Zermatt. From there, it takes about 10–15 minutes to walk to the Zermatt Heliport, either along the road or via the hiking trails toward Täsch. If you’re arriving by car, you’ll need to park in Täsch and take the shuttle to Zermatt (final stop: Zermatt Bahnhofplatz). You also have the option of flying directly by helicopter. Sightseeing Flights from Raron
Located at the foot of the Bietsch Valley, the municipality of Raron is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Swiss Alps: Jungfrau-Aletsch.” To reach the Raron Heliport by public transportation, take the train to Visp Station and then the bus (Bodmereia stop). From there, it’s a 15-minute walk. By car, you can drive directly to the Raron Heliport.

Prices are per person. The flight operates with a minimum of 4 passengers, although the helicopter can accommodate 5 people. Air Zermatt will be happy to help you organise a group. If you do not wish to share the sightseeing flight with other passengers, you have the option of booking a private flight (price for 5 people).

How far in advance should I book my flight?
We recommend booking the flight just a few days in advance to take the weather conditions into account as far as possible. The final decision as to whether the flight will take place can be made at very short notice, the day before or even on the same day.
I have children with me. What is the minimum age requirement?
Children wirh 4 years and older are allowed to fly on a sightseeing flight.
I’d like to book a sightseeing flight, but the date isn’t listed on the website yet. What can I do?
Slots for sightseeing flights are published here about a month in advance.
My flight was canceled. What can I do?
If a flight is canceled, we’ll try to rearrange for another date of your choice, subject to availability.
The weather seems uncertain. What can I do?
The weather in the mountains can change quickly. We rely on local weather reports, but can’t offer any guarantees. The decision about the flight is made at very short notice, if necessary on the same day.
