Not long now – the top women speed-athletes will soon be starting the downhill season on the “Gran Becca” race slope on the weekends of November 11-12 as well as 18-19, 2023. A weekend of first-class snowsports performance between Zermatt and Cervinia.
The “Gran Becca” race slope starts on Swiss soil at 3,720 meters above sea level, making it not only the earliest ski event in the FIS calendar, but also the highest. The finish line at Laghi Cime Bianche (2,810 meters above sea level) means that the route crosses the border into Italy.
