Major operation after avalanche accident on the Riffelberg

On Monday afternoon, an avalanche broke loose off-piste on the Riffelberg above Zermatt. Several people were swept away by the avalanche. Air Zermatt was deployed with four helicopters at the same time.

Over 40 rescue missions at the weekend

Air Zermatt helicopters were deployed 41 times for rescues at the weekend. Air Zermatt's ambulance service was also called out on a further 17 missions. The majority of these missions involved winter sports accidents.

Hamilton x Air Zermatt Store in Zermatt

The successful partnership between Hamilton and Air Zermatt has reached a new level with the opening of a joint store in Zermatt. Having already joined forces in a pop-up store on Bahnhofstrasse, the two companies are continuing their successful collaboration with a long-term project.
